Google Toolbar
Google toolbar is an internet toolbar available for Mozilla firefox and Internet Explorer. It has a search box to access google search with a single click and also offers many functionalities including accessing gmail account, saved bookmarks and web history.
Google Talk
Google talk is an innovative chat application developed by google team. Its first beta version was released on August, 2005. Like yahoo messenger, offline chat is also available. Users can send IM to a user who is not currently signed in and the message will be displayed when the user signs in. Google talk is also supported by many mobile phones.

Picasa
Picasa is a stand alone software which is used to organize and edit digital images. Picasa was originally created by Idealab and was acquired by google in 2004. Some of the features of this wonderful piece of software are:

- Viewing

- Face recognization

Google Translate
Google translate is a service provided by google to translate a webpage into another supported language. Its still in its beta stage and unlike yahoo and other translation services which uses SYSTRAN , google uses its own algorithm which is said to be much superior to SYSTRAN. But it has its own limitations(the translated version is not 100% accurate).

Google Earth
Google earth is a virtual globe, map and geographic information program which was originally created by Keyhole Inc. which was later acquired by google. Google earth was formerly known as earth viewer. The key features of google earth are:
- It is available over a wide range of languages
- Flight simulator can be used to simulate travelling in a flight to any supported location in the world
- Google sky is a feature which allows users to view stars and other celestial bodies
- Street view allows users to view a place from ground level
- Satellite images of moon can also be viewed

Google Chrome
Google chrome is a web browser that was released by google on 2nd September, 2008 as a beta version for windows operating system and the stable release was on 11th December, 2008. It uses the webkit layout engine and application framework. Google chrome was released along with its source which enabled others to customize chrome to work in Linux and Mac OS. The most important features of google chrome are:
- security using anti-phishing and anti-malware protection
- speed of javascript virtual machine is said to be faster than that of firefox
- Google chrome is very stable

Gmail
Gmail is a free webmail, POP3, IMAP service provided by google. As of July 2009, it has 146 million users monthly. Initially google mail offerred 1GB storage which was increased gradually and at present google mail offers 7350MB of storage space with additional space available at a minimum cost. Google Search
Google is the most popular and the best search engine available today. Google search engine can be used to search for a wide variety of items. Some of the searches that you can perform on google are as follows:
- search for a particular keyword or a phrase on the web. Google lists the list of site that matched the keyword that is typed
- Search images using a particular keyword. Google displays the images that have the searched keyword in the name of the image
- Search for a particular place or a landmark in google maps. Google displays the location of the typed place or landmark in the google map
- Search for news using google news using a particular keyword. Google displays the news relevant to the typed keyword. The results will be from news sites like hindu, sify, timesofindia, expressbuzz, etc.
- Search for books using the title of the book or authors. Google displays the relevant books associated with the keyword typed
